Pine Valley Invites You to Explore the Mountainside

Pine Valley, California lies east of El Cajon and San Diego along Interstate 8. Named after the Jeffrey Pine found in the valley, this is a small unincorporated community which provides spacious yet affordable housing for residents. This is a great location for mountain-view homes, as it lies on the edge of the massive Anza Borrego Desert State Park. The Cuyamaca Rancho State Park provides another area of natural beauty. This town gives commuters easy access to big-city amenities while retaining the advantages of a small town. Educational needs are served by Pine Valley Elementary, Mountain Empire Middle School and Mountain Empire High School, while college-bound students can take their pick of institutions, including the University of California San Diego, which less than 30 miles away. There’s plenty to do in this region, including exploring mountain trails and visiting museums to find out about local history. There’s also a Motor Transport Museum not far from the area. Altogether, Pine Valley is a pleasant location in the mountains.
